At Carnival 2019, the year in which thePernambuco drumscelebrated its 15th anniversary, we had the honor of honoring Maestro Forró and Orquestra Popular da Bomba do Hemetério.
We held a carnival preview at the Pitombeira headquarters in order to make the tribute to the artist official and officially publicize the elements of that year's costumes.
The clothing refers to the irreverence of the artist and represented all the instruments that make up the Orquesta Popular da Bomba do Hemetério, as well as the multicolor clothes of Maestro Forró.
Shortly after the official dates for Carnival 2019, thePernambuco Batuques Percussive Groupwas invited to participate in the big party that Maestro Forró holds in the community of Chão de Estrela called "Todos são maestros" with wide coverage of the communication networks.
At Carnival 2020, thePernambuco drumsThe great honoree was the musician, poet, fiddle player, popular artist, master of maracatu and singer, Maciel Salú.
We held our carnival preview at the Manny Deck Bar with the participation of several attractions such as the singer Márcia Santos, the percussion of Fábrica de Samba, the singer Cailu César in addition to Dj Edu Reis.
In our preview, Maciel made a point of putting on a show for the participants and guests who were at the Manny Deck Bar, giving an impeccable presentation and getting everyone to dance.
That year's costumes made reference to Caboclo de Tecla from Maracatu Rural Piaba de Ouro, a group in which the Salustiano family has great participation and influence. In this way, the Batuques de Pernambuco integrated the Maracatu de Baque Solto with the Maracatu de Baque Virado.

At Carnival 2023, thePernambuco drums will be honored with musician, poet, composer, singer Geraldinho Lins.
During the carnival preview at the Manny Deck Bar, Geraldinho Lins watched the presentation ofPernambuco's Batuques Bandcomposed by Guilherme Montarroyos, Eduardo Henrique Alencar, Claudia Alencar, Jonny, Aline Beltrão, Giovana Coely, Jaqueline Barros and Renato Motta
In our preview, Geraldinho Lins made a point of playing along with Banda Batuques, the song Anjo Azul for the participants and guests who were at the event and soon after Guilherme delivered the tribute items.
The preview also featured a performance by singer Márcia Santos, percussion by Fábrica de Samba, the Back Stage Orchestra, and animation by Clarkk DJ.
The 2023 costume makes reference to the song Anjo Azul with the theme: Be So Batuques! The Batuques of Pernambuco from Oilnda to Sertão! Blue Angels in procession in Sequencia Nação!
Já para o Carnaval de 2024, o Batuques de Pernambuco fará a homenagem ao cantor, compositor, músico, poeta, professor, pesquisador e ex-secretário de cultura do Estado de Pernambuco Silvério Pessoa.
O grupo, que completa 20 Anos, terá as principais representações do carnaval, na frente do cortejo a medida em que o artista está, para a cultura e diversidade artística para Pernambuco.
Silvério Pessoa retribuiu todo o carinho de nossa homenagem, realizando uma apresentação muito especial e cantando os principais côcos e cirandas.
Dessa forma, o artista animou o público que estava presente na Prévia Carnavalesca do Batuques de Pernambuco promovendo uma integração entre o público que estava em nossa festa.
